Chief of gang involved in ATM loots in Kerala held in Bharatpur
The Rajasthan and the Kerala police in a joint operation on Saturday night arrested the chief of a gang of five from Bharatpur involved in looting five automated teller machines (ATMs) in Kochi on October 12. The gang looted ~38 lakh from the five ATMs, police said.
Naseem Meo, arrested from Thalchana village during a raid, has confessed to looting five automated teller machines in Kerala with his gang that has two members from Bharatpur and the other two from Haryana, police added.
Police teams formed led by Kaman’s circle officer Rai Singh Beniwal, directed by superintendent of police Kesar Singh Sekhawat conducted the raid, where Kerala police circle inspector Uttam Das and his team were also present.
“The Kerala police identified them with the help of CCTV footage of ATMs and got in touch with us,” said Bharatpur superintendent of police Kesar Singh Shekhawat.

Police arrested Naseem Mev who has been involved in looting ATMs in Kerala,Maharashtra,Alwar,Bharatpur while his aide Pappi Singh from village Sahsan under police station Jurahara was also arrested by Delhi police for 10 motor cycles theft.
His third colleague Nizam Mev from village Abhaypur has been absconding while their two other aides from Haryana are on the run.
The gang took a flight from Delhi to Kerala where they looted ~38 cash lakh from ATMs on October 12.
Rai Singh Beniwal said Kerala police contacted SP Bharatpur after arresting the gang chief from Mewat region.
Naseem Meo confessed to have looted five ATMs and stealing a vehicle and distributed cash among the group.
