Both Congress and BJP are in the fray for making their positions stronger in the state by winning the bypolls. Ruling party of the state, Congress lost the seat to BJP and RLP in the assembly elections.
Several prominent names of the Congress leaders such as Rameshwar Dudi, Harendra Mirdha and Jyoti Mirdha are the names circulating to contest on the Khinvsar seat, as per the Congress sources. Moreover, for the Mandava seats former Congress MLA Rita Chaudhary and former state president of the Congress part Dr Chandrabhaan are the probable candidates on the seat. Meanwhile, BJP is also under the process of deciding on the names of the candidates.
Beniwal defeated, Jyoti Mirdah in the Lok Sabha elections, to win the Nagaur seat after which he gave resignation as an MLA from Khinvsar.
Khichar, however defeated Congress leader Shravan Kumar to win the Jhunjhunu seat and thereafter gave resignation from the Mandava MLA post.
Beniwal might project a candidate on the Khinvsar seat, however the BJP has not yet decided if the party would contest the elections from the seat.
