‘Discipline, skills must for police’
JAIPUR : Jodhpur city police commissioner Prafulla Kumar on Saturday said that the police s hould t r y t o l i ve up t o t he expectations of the public and society.
“You will try to live up to the expectations of the public and society from the police department and will face the prevailing crime, organised crime, cyber crime and social evils in the society strongly and will contribute your best in maintaining law and order,” Kumar said at the BSF training centre while addressing a convocation parade of batch number 234 and 237 of new constables
“This work is possible only through discipline, training, professional skills, bravery and social commitments,” said Kumar who was chief guest of the convocation parade.
In the ceremony, a total of 374 new constables of Rajasthan Police took oath of commitment towards the Constitution and maintaining unity and integrity of the country.
Kumar emphasised giving importance to human values a nd t a ki ng c a r e o f human rights. “This day is full of enthusiasm and memorable in your life and as a member of Rajasthan police f amily, I got t he opportunity to witness this moment. A policeman should take care of human and human right.”
The chief guest congratulated the training team of the BSF and t h e n e w c o n s t a b l e s wh o received medals in various fields during the training and wished for a bright future for all the constables.
