He said that US president’s programme remained intact despite the fact that dharna and demonstrations were being held across the country and in the national capital.

“Neither prime minister nor home minister is speaking. It is very unfortunate that such big incidents have happened, 10-15 people lost lives in Delhi. Nobody knows what is happening in the country. The country is running in such a state, which is a serious concern,” he said. He appealed that there should not be violence.

BJP spokesperson Mukesh Pareek said the incidents in Delhi are condemnable. It is the lies and baseless statements made against CAA at Shaheen Bagh, which resulted to the incidents in Delhi. The police have controlled the violence and because of home ministers timely action peace has prevailed. “Action should be taken against those from any party, who makes provoking statements. The opposition should not make f alse st atements against CAA,” he said.

Pareek said Trump visit has been successful and the way he appreciated India and its people has increased respect. The US president has appreciated the work done by PM Modi. He assured that US will stand by India against terror. Trump visit to Ashram show his respect towards Mahatma Gandhi, he added.
