Kota coaching centres closed, institute offers free online course

KOTA: Coaching institutes of Kota stopped classes from Saturday till March 30 due to coronaviru­s outbreak on state government’s orders, but an institute announced an online free crash course for NEET aspirants.

“We are with the state government as health is a priority amidst outbreak of coronaviru­s, so we have closed our institute till March 31,” said Brajesh Maheshwari, director of Allen Career Institute of Kota.

Although courses for JEE Mains and NEET have been completed in coaching institutes and many students have returned to their places, some have stayed back for tests. Students who are repeating the courses and those pursuing a 2-year course were attending classes until Friday. There are over 40 coaching institutes in Kota and more than 1.50 lakh students come to the city every year for coaching.

Career Point has offered free online crash course for NEET aspirants. Online classes are now made accessible to all students, including those not enrolled at Career Point, without any fee.
