SP’S ‘woo Brahmin’ mission’s ext stop is west UP

Now the party has decided to launch the second round of the conference from a Hindu holy place to send a message to the voters that along with its core support base Dalits, it is ready to integrate the upper caste voters.

BSP chief Mayawati had announced that upper caste leaders will be given important position in the organizati­on and government after BSP forms the government in 2022 assembly election.

Reacting to BSP outreach, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched an attack on it alleging that the Hindu holy places were degraded and ignored during the Mayawati government.

BSP hit back stating that under its government large funds were released for the developmen­t of Ayodhya, Mathura,

Vrindavan, Varanasi and Chitrakoot.

“The BSP will give momentum to the developmen­t of the religious places after forming government in the 2022 assembly election,” a senior BSP leader said.

The BSP has planned a series of Brahmin conference named Prabuddh class conference in West UP. After Mathura, Mishra will address conference­s at Agra, Firozabad, Kasganj, Etah, Aligarh, Hathras, Shahjhanpu­r, Bareilly, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Badaun, Moradabad, Bijnore, Muzaffarna­gar, Amroha, Sambhal, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Shamli, Bulandshah­ar and NOIDA.

He will address two meetings daily to give momentum to the BSP plan of winning the support of the Brahmin voters.

A BSP leader said, along with the Brahmin community, the BSP plans to win the support of Jat community that has launched an agitation under the banner of the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha. Terming the BJP government anti–farmer, the BSP chief Mayawati has urged the central government to withdraw the three farm laws.

Party takes lead in giving tickets

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has taken the lead over the rival political parties in finalizing candidates on various assembly seats for the 2022 assembly election.

In a meeting held at Kanpur on Tuesday, the BSP chief sector in-charge Naushad Ali and MLC Bhimrao Ambedkar announced Ramesh Singh Yadav as the party candidate from Bithur assembly seat.

The party is likely to announce the name of Lalji Shukla as the candidate from Sikandra assembly seat on August 2. Bhimrao Ambedkar said, along with strengthen­ing the organizati­on at the booth level, the party has decided to finalize the candidates for the coming assembly election. The candidates will get sufficient time for campaignin­g in the assembly segments. The senior party leaders and office bearers had been directed to launch the campaign in the support of the candidates whose name had been finalized by the party, he said.
