We, however, will continue to hope for such restrictions to be uplifted for Sunday as well and weekly closure on some other day coming in force,” said Shishir Bhagat, the convenor of Wake Up Agra. “Restaurants and food outlets receive most customers during the weekend, and thus Sunday should also be free from the weekend restrictions,” he urged.

“While thanking the chief minister for relaxation on Saturday, we are looking for relaxation on Sunday, August 22 following Rakshabandhan, which cannot be celebrated without sweets,” added Bhagat.
