We, however, will continue to hope for such restrictio­ns to be uplifted for Sunday as well and weekly closure on some other day coming in force,” said Shishir Bhagat, the convenor of Wake Up Agra. “Restaurant­s and food outlets receive most customers during the weekend, and thus Sunday should also be free from the weekend restrictio­ns,” he urged.

“While thanking the chief minister for relaxation on Saturday, we are looking for relaxation on Sunday, August 22 following Rakshaband­han, which cannot be celebrated without sweets,” added Bhagat.
