Rescuers earlier recovered two other cars from the rubble.

Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur, who visited the landslide scene on Wednesday, announced the search operation will continue till the last body is traced.

On Friday, Thakur visited the community health centre in Bhaba Nagar of Kinnaur district to inquire about the well being of the people who were injured in the landslide. He announced the ₹4 lakh compensati­on to the families of the deceased in the incident. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh each to the family of those who were killed and ₹50,000 for those injured in the tragedy.
