Kaali Peeli Tales: Six unique stories, an incredible star cast, a take on modern love
Bustling lanes, towering high rises and epic traffic, life in Mumbai excites yet overwhelms. And within its chaos are entwined a few lives that are at the crossroads of change and acceptance. But there is one thing that binds them all, the iconic Kaali-peeli taxi, chronicling their journey of life.
In a six-part anthology, Amazon minitv’s latest offering in collaboration with boat, Kaali Peeli Tales, taps into the complexities of modern-day relationships in the fast-paced city of Mumbai.
Directed by Adeeb Rais of Madmidaas Films, the six stories delve into the themes of romance, marriage, infidelity, homosexuality, forgiveness and divorce, each offering a unique take on love.

While Single Jhumka starring Sayani Gupta and Priyanshu Painyuli throws light on infidelity and forgiveness, director-actor Rais steers through the issues of commitment phobia through a touching story titled Love In Tadoba.

Marriage 2.0 focuses on the nuances of honesty and laughter in a marriage whereas Fish Fry Aur Coffee starring Sadiya Siddiqui and Sharib Hashmi is an emotional stance on hardships and relationships.
The series also dwells on the selfless nature of parental love and divorce in a ribtickling comedy by Vinay Pathak and Soni Razdan in Harra Bharra, culminating into a yet another endearin account of complexities of marriage and sexual preferences in Loose Ends starring Gauahar Khan and Tanmay Dhanania.
