THE NO-ENTRY ROUTES

On the Sion-Panvel highway, one of the Mumbai to Pune lanes on the CBD flyover will be open for traffic. The other two lanes will be shut for traffic. There will be no entry for heavy and very heavy vehicles travelling towards Pune the Uran Phata flyover on the Sion Panvel highway. Only light vehicles will be allowed on this route. To ensure that the Mumbai to Pune traffic is smooth, there will not be any right turn allowed from CBD rotary towards Konkan Bhavan. The alternate routes for vehicles heading to Konkan Bhavan, CIDCO Bhavan, Palm Beach road, CBD sectors 11, 15 will be ti take left to CBD police station – Mahakali chowk – Gavaskar Maidan – Park Hotel – Bhau Patil Chowk to the destination. Vehicles heading from Panvel to CBD sector 1 to 9 will have the route shut at CBD rotary. The alternate route for them will be to take left from the circle and head to Bhau Patil chowk – Park Hotel – Gavaskar maidan and then to destination.
