DAY 1: “On the first day there will be a sem­i­nar on data se­cu­rity, for which, we have in­vited Deepak Shikarpur as the chief guest. Lawyers Prashant Mali and Ravi­raj Doshi will speak to se­nior of­fi­cials of dif­fer­ent com­pa­nies,” said Ra­jen­dra Bhamre ACP (Crime).

DAY 2: “The sec­ond day will be on In­tel­lec­tual Property Rights and dig­i­tal piracy which will be ad­dressed by ac­tor Son­ali Kulka­rni, lawyers Hiren Kamod and Di­wan” he said.

“Peo­ple down­load­ing movies at home is a vi­o­la­tion of the Copyright Act. The film in­dus­try, as well the gov­ern­ment, is los­ing a lot of rev­enue be­cause of piracy,” said Bhamre.

DAY 3: The third day will be about cy­ber­crime in­ves­ti­ga­tions.

DAY 4: The fourth the day will be on dig­i­tal ev­i­dence search and seizure.

DAY 5: On the fifth day of the week, there will be sem­i­nars about bank­ing and fi­nan­cial crimes.

DAY 6: The clos­ing cer­e­mony will have Nan­daku­mar Sar­avade as the chief guest and lawyer Vaishali Bhag­wat will speak about so­cial net­work­ing. Bol­ly­wood ac­tor R Mad­ha­van has agreed to be the guest of honor.

“Ev­ery day we will visit schools and so­ci­eties in dif­fer­ent nodes to ed­u­cate stu­dents about be­ing cy­ber-safe and be aware to be se­cure,” said Sangeeta Alphonso, se­nior po­lice in­spec­tor, Nerul po­lice sta­tion and cy­ber law ex­pert.

“We are also plan­ning to dis­trib­ute ad­vi­sories, or­gan­ise draw­ing com­pe­ti­tions to cre­ate aware­ness amongst the chil­dren too,” she said.
