Asked if MNS planned to burn autorickshaws in Navi Mumbai as asked by their leader, city president Gajanan Kale said, “An order is an order. We will burn down the RTO too if required.”
Kale said, “Of the 1,943 applications for auto permits, several non-Maharashtrians have submitted bogus documents during the verification process.”
Deputy RTO Sanjay Dhaigude said, “During the verification process, we have received documents from 1817 persons.
“A total of 126 have not submitted their documents and hence will not be eligible for the permit. Of these 651 applicants are originally from outside Maharashtra. There are 64 women applicants as well
