ACCIDENT AT SHAHPUR KILLS ONE

SHAHPUR: One passenger was killed and 24 injured when an MSRTC bus skid near Murbichapada on Wednesday. When the bus driver was taking a sharp turn near Murbichapada around 8.30pm, the bus skid and fell into a 6- feet- deep trench. The bus, which left Shahpur bus depot around 7.15pm, was heading to Junoni. After the accident, the driver and the conductor ran away from the spot. Both are residents of Nashik.

The deceased was identified as Jaytu Hema Bodke ,45, a Shahpur resident. The bus driver has been identified as Vishal Kundli Katkade.

A police officer from Kinhawli police station said: “We have informed the MSRTC who are looking for them.”
