Cidco hikes charges to play at Kharghar golf course

Cidco has hiked charges at its Valley Golf Course in Kharghar. It has released a revised rate card for playing at the course.

Cidco has developed an international standard 9 holes golf course at Kharghar. It has received excellent response from both Navi Mumbai residents as well as those residing in nearby areas. Cidco senior public relations officer Mohan Ninawe said, “We intend to provide even better services at the golf course and hence to cover the cost, the hike has been implemented.”

As per the revised rate, the players will have to pay Rs1,200 for two hours for playing on weekends and public holidays. On other days the fee will be Rs 600. Students will have to pay Rs 300 on all days except weekend and public holidays. CIDCO personnel will have to pay Rs 600 on weekends and public holidays and Rs 300 on other days.

For foreigners, the fee for weekend and public holidays is Rs2,400 and Rs1200 on other days.

There are special rates for those wanting to learn golf. Adults above 16 years of age will have to pay Rs400 per hour. Cidco former and present employees and their families and kids below 16 years of age will pay Rs 200 per hour.

Rs 200 will have to be paid for a caddy by each player.

There is now a provision for renting out the golf course for competitions and programmes as well. On weekends and public holidays, the rent will be Rs 4 lakh and on other days except Monday it will be Rs 2 lakh.
