Com­plete projects on time: Vichare to rail­way of­fi­cials

CBD BE­LA­PUR: Mem­ber of Par­lia­ment Ra­jan Vichare in­spected Turbhe rail­way sta­tion and Dutt Mandir rail­way foot over­bridge on Thurs­day.

He later took to task Navi Mum­bai Mu­nic­i­pal Cor­po­ra­tion (NMMC), City and In­dus­trial De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (Cidco) and rail­way of­fi­cials ask­ing them to com­plete de­vel­op­ment works in time.

The rail­way foot over­bridge is be­ing con­structed us­ing MP Lad funds and is ex­pected to be com­pleted by Novem­ber this year.

Vichare was ac­com­pa­nied by Shiv Sena up­neta Vi­jay Na­hata and other Shiv Sena lead­ers.

“The is­sues that are reg­u­larly raised by the cit­i­zens should be taken se­ri­ously and they should be re­solved in a time-bound man- ner,” he said.

He added, “Don’t clean the rail­way sta­tion only on the day when you know the MP is go­ing to visit. It should be cleaned every day.”

Vichare meet NMMC city en­gi­neer Mo­han Da­gaonkar, as­sis­tant med­i­cal of­fi­cer of health Dr Deepak Parop­kari, Cidco chief en­gi­neer (spe­cial projects) Su­nil Da­rade and rail­way of­fi­cials.

He asked of­fi­cials to en­sure that the MP LAD-fi­nanced projects are taken up at the ear­li­est.
