THANE: When 12-year-old Disha Seth sang about the traffic problems at Teen Haath Naka that makes her late to school almost every day, all the parents sitting in the audience could relate to her. As part of the annual school celebrations of Saraswati Secondary School in Naupada last month, Seth and her classmates performed songs and skits highlightingthegrowingtrafficwoes.

More and more schools are taking up issues, such as traffic woes or bachpan (childhood) as themes for celebrations, in a bid to reach out to not only the students, but also parents.
