Be patient to receive and follow the signs of the universe

The universe can often relay messages to us through subtle signs. We are often too busy to stop and consider and receive such signs. We may ask the universe, yet fail to recognise the signs. Learning the subtle language of these signs can help one interpret the guidance that the universe sends one’s way.

We all have been blessed with a connection that allows the universe to communicate directly with us. To be able to understand the information relayed, it’s necessary to pay attention. To notice and correctly interpret a sign, we must open our hearts and minds to the universe and invite this guidance into our lives. Many of us are deaf and blind to the signs we receive because we expect someone to speak to us in a booming voice and tell us what we need to do.

The signs are usually visible on this earth and are easier to encounter. They can come through animals, strangers, or from a passage in a book. The sign may be a direct answer to one of your questions.

Other signs may point you in the right direction, warn you of impending difficulties, or show you a different way. If one wants the universe to send him/her a sign, one must be ready and willing to accept its guidance. One should also bear in mind that not everything that comes will be a sign. If a person is receptive and patient, these signs will become easier to recognise. It’s important to listen to one’s intuition. A sign can mean many things to many people and only you can decipher the meaning it holds for you. As we start to practise reading signs and following their guidance, the universe will send more of them our way.
