SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE AGAINST 3 STUDENTS FROM Sobo SCHOOL

MUMBAI: A Class 5 student and two Class 6 students of a top south Mumbai school face cases under the law that criminalises homosexuality after their par ents filed complaints and coun ter complaints of sexual assault last week.

The trigger was the Class 5 student’s complaint to his par ents that his seniors touched him inappropriately in the school toilet. With his parents demanding that the two boys be expelled, the school called in the cops. The parents of the two Class 6 boys then filed a counter complaint that the class 5 boy too had touched their children inappropriately. All three boys underwent a medical check-up and investigations are on.
