CAN EXERCISE LOWER RISK OF PSYCHOSIS?
Physical activity can help reduce cardiovascular disease and premature mortality risk in people with psychological problems, reveals a new study. Researchers from King’s College London examined whether weekly moderate-to-vigorous exercise is related to psychotic symptoms. The results indicated that diagnosis of psychosis is associated with physical inactivity, especially among men.
