CAN EXERCISE LOWER RISK OF PSYCHOSIS?

Physical activity can help reduce cardiovasc­ular disease and premature mortality risk in people with psychologi­cal problems, reveals a new study. Researcher­s from King’s College London examined whether weekly moderate-to-vigorous exercise is related to psychotic symptoms. The results indicated that diagnosis of psychosis is associated with physical inactivity, especially among men. People with such disorders are among the most inactive people, engaging in sedentary behaviour for almost 13 hours a day. The study was
