Singaporean bizman accused of raping Mumbai woman on the run
MUMBAI: Officials from Bandra police station are on the lookout for a Singaporean businessman, accused of raping a 34-year-old on several occasions on the pretext of marrying her. The woman, a resident of the Western suburbs, had registered a case on September 26.
Inspector Sanjeev Bhole from Bandra police station confirmed that a case has been registered and the accused is on the run. He said, the accused was nowhere in sight when they visited his official accommodation in Bandra.
Based on the primary investigation, cops reached the conclusion that he had returned to Singapore and are now trying to contact his offices in Mumbai and Singapore to trace his whereabouts.
