HUL NET UP 11.5% TO ₹1,096 CR

MUMBAI: FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) on Wednesday reported an 11.54% increase in standalone net profit to ₹1,095.6 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016, against the same period last year. The company had posted net profit of ₹982.17 crore in the July-september quarter of 2015-16. HUL’S total income from operations went up 1.57% to ₹8,480.26 crore during the quarter under review, against ₹8,348.6 crore a year ago.
