Mudgal slams DDCA officials in report to Delhi High Court
NEW DELHI: Justice (retd) Mukul Mudgal, who has been appointed observer for all domestic and international matches this season at the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), has submitted a scathing report to the Delhi High Court.
In the report, Mudgal narrated a series of events along with annexures and complaints that there had been a willful attempt to scuttle the domestic season.
He wrote, “There has been a deliberate and wilful attempt to scuttle the domestic cricket sea ing invoices for conducting the domestic season are not being cleared or are being cleared after wilful delay.
WITHHELD tors, coaches and managers for the present domestic season and expenses for the teams have been withheld despite clear and unequivocal directions by me to honour the agreements, which would adversely affect the domestic season… the signatories have declined to sign the payment notes and the cheques prepared for the payments subsequent to my approval directly contravening not only the court’s order but affecting the domestic season.”
On Tuesday, Mudgal shot off a letter, warning the officials that they were obstructing the smooth conduct of the
