Kerala hand Mumbai 273-run drubbing
MUMBAI: Kerala handed Mumbai a 273-run defeat in the match of the under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy in Mumbai on Thursday. Chasing a target of 365 in the fourth innings, Mumbai were skittled for just 92, as Kerala’s Fabid Ahmed picked up a fivewicket haul.
Only three Mumbai batsmen managed to earn double-digit scores, with one batsmen absent hurt. Mumbai, who had taken a first innings lead of 50, had squandered the advantage as Kerala amassed 415 in their second essay.
