NEWDELHI: The DDCA administrator Justice Vikramjit Sen has summoned senior player Gautam Gambhir, under-fire coach KP Bhaskar and team manager Shankar Saini to discuss about the recent controversies surrounding the senior state team’s dismal show in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Bhaskar and Gambhir had a heated altercation after Delhi’s campaign ended in Bhubaneswar with allegations of former India captain abusing the coach, something he has categorically denied.

Gambhir, on his part has made multiple allegations of Bhaskar making youngsters like Nitish Rana, Unmukt Chand and Pawan Negi “insecured” and “playing with their careers”.

“Yes, Justice Sen has summoned both Bhaskar and Gambhir along with manager Shankar Saini at 11 am at the DDCSA headquarters in Feroz Shah Kotla ground,” a DDCA official told PTI.

Delhi has had a disastrous season under Bhaskar where they have failed to qualify for the knock-outs of both Ranji Trophy as well as Vijay Hazare Trophy.

HALES, ROOT HIT TONS AS ENGLAND MAKE 328

BRIDGETOWN,BARBADOS: Centuries by Alex Hales and Joe Root highlighted another dominant batting effort by England in posting a formidable 328 all out against the West Indies in the third and final one-day international at Kensington Oval on Thursday.

Sidelined for almost two months by a hand injury sustained in India, Hales belted 110 on his return while Root followed up his assured match-winning 90 not out in the second ODI in Antigua with 101.

Their second-wicket partnership was worth 192 runs, the most for any wicket in a one-dayer at the venue.

Seeking to avoid a whitewash in the series and desperately needing rankings points to earn automatic qualification for the 2019 World Cup, the West Indies hardly assisted their cause by extending the epidemic of dropped catches that afflicted them in the first two matches in
