The Indian cricket board’s Committee of Administrators (COA) will meet with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon on Wednesday.

The meeting will be held to discuss the proposed constitutional reforms in the ICC as well as the revenue sharing model. The Indian board has been opposed to the new model that has been agreed in principle and will come into effect after the ICC rolls back the earlier revenue sharing model and constitutional changes put in place in 2014.

The ICC meeting to decide on that will be held later this month and India are looking for support from other boards like Bangladesh to oppose it.

Papon is the key as he is part of ICC’S special working group that has proposed changes to the ICC’S Constitution and Financial models.

Board’s top office-bearers, acting president CK Khanna, joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhary and treasurer Aniruddh Chaudhry, will not be taking part in the meeting, it was confirmed.

Meanwhile, BCCI’S Delhi office that was shut down after Anurag Thakur’s ouster by Supreme Court order, has been re-opened. Acting president CK Khanna will be operating from the President’s office.

PCB ISSUES SHOW CAUSE NOTICE TO JAMSHED

The cricket authorities on Tuesday issued a show cause notice to discarded Test opener Nasir Jamshed under the PCB Anti-corruption Code for not yet responding to the spot-fixing charges against him.

Jamshed, who lives in Birmingham, is yet to meet with the PCB’S ACU officials or lawyers in connection with the Pakistan Super League spot-fixing case. He last played for Pakistan in the World Cup 2015.

The PCB has charged Jamshed for violation of Articles 2.4.6 and 2.4.7 of the code and he has been given 14-days to respond to the charges made out against him.

The PCB says it wants to question Jamshed in connection with the PSL case and a ACU officer even flew to London this week for the purpose but so far no meeting has taken place.

The PCB believes that Jamshed facilitated the contacts between suspended Pakistani players Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif who have both denied allegations of spot-fixing and other charges against them.

PCB has also referred Shahzaib Hassan’s matter to the Anticorruption Tribunal.
