Pakistan beat Scotland to take T20I series 20
MUMBAI: Pakistan on Wednesday defeated Ireland by 84 runs in the second T20I at Edinburgh.
Electing to bat first, Fakhar Zaman’s 33 and Shoaib Malik’s unbeaten 49 helped Pakistan to a total of 166/6 in their 20 overs. In reply, Scotland were bowled out for 82 in 14.4 overs with Faheem Ashraf (3/5) and Usman Khan (2/4) starring for Pakistan.
Chasing 167, Scotland were blown away by the Pakistani bowlers with only Calum Macleod (25) providing resistance. Richie Berrington scored 20 whereas Safyaan Sharif contributed with 10.
