Sumehr guides KG ‘C’ to fluent wins

MUMBAI: Khar Gymkhana’s 14-year-old cueist Sumehr Mago produced impressive performanc­es by winning all his three frames in guiding KG ‘C’ to a 3-0 win at home and a 3-1 away win against DPCG ‘Scientists’ in Pool O league in the third week of the Otters Club-sponsored BSAM Snooker League 2018.

VIRESH WINS BRONZE AT JR ASIAN WRESTLING

NEW DELHI: Viresh Kundu saved the day for India by winning an exciting battle against Korea’s Jeongyul Kwon to claim a bronze medal in the 97kg category while four of his compatriot­s bit the dust on the second day of the Asian Junior Wrestling Championsh­ips here on Wednesday.

Viresh won 14-5 before the first three-minute period on technical superiorit­y for his first internatio­nal-level medal.
