PVT TUTOR HELD FOR RAPING MINOR GIRL IN KANPUR

KANPUR: A private tutor was arrested on Saturday on the charge of raping a seven-year-old girl in Farrukhaba­d, police said. Confirming the arrest, superinten­dent of police, Farrukhaba­d, Atul Sharma said the survivor was medically examined. According to the complaint, the survivor was a student of the accused who took private tuitions at his house. The teacher let other children go away on Friday and held her back in the house where he raped her, police said.

Bomb found near Imphal Internatio­nal Airport

IMPHAL: A bomb was found on Saturday near the Imphal Internatio­nal Airport in Imphal West district, police said. The bomb was found by the Tidim Road in Ningombam village at around 6 pm, said Jogeshchan­dra Haobijam, Superinten­dent of Police, Imphal West district. The bomb squad of the Manipur police dismantled the improvised Explosive Device (IED) and it was disposed off at a safe place, the SP further said.

3 arrested for waving black flags at Shah’s convoy in UP

ALLAHABAD: Three people, including two women, were arrested for allegedly waving black flags and jumping in front of BJP chief Amit Shah’s convoy here on Friday, police said on Saturday.
