MUMBAI : After a mentally unstable 70-year-old woman was rescued from a railway station, the Virar police on Wednesday admitted her to a hospital. While she said she has three sons in Dadar, police were unable to verify the claim. Cops have appealed to people to help her reunite with her family.

State gets 10 new bike ambulances

MUMBAI : Deepak Sawant, health minister on Thursday introduced five new bike ambulances each in Melghat and Palghar, owing to the malnutriti­on-related medical emergencie­s and narrow lanes in these areas. The move has added 10 bikes to the existing 18.

Body of man who fell off train found at Palghar stn

PALGHAR : The body of a partially blind commuter, Aniket Eeswhar Deotale, was found in a ditch near the railway track near Saphale on Thursday. Officials said he died on Tuesday after he dashed against a pole and fell off.
