A look at the events that led to Kirti Vyas’s murder

September 22, 2017: Siddhesh Tamhankar is put on performance improvement plan by Vyas November: Khushi starts siphoning off ₹10,000 from students enrolling in the academy in the name of processing fees February 6, 2018: Vyas is pulled up by her boss for incomplete accounts.

Vyas complains about Tamhankar’s lack of responsibility and mulls taking action against Tamhankar

February 14: Tamhankar is given a warning letter about a performance review to be conducted on March 17

March 15: Vyas stays back late in office and tells the administration head of Bblunt salon, Varsha Gurunath Khanolkar, that she wants to discuss something before Tamhankar’s review meeting. However, Vyas leaves complaining of headache

March 16: Tamhankar and Sahjwani pick up Vyas from her house at 9am. They ask her to not expose their relationship or the fact that Khushi

siphoned off money. Vyas remains adamant on marking Tamhankar’s work performance review negative and on talking to Khanolkar. Tamhankar then strangles Vyas. The couple keep her body in the car’s trunk and go to work. They dispose of the body in Wadala creek at night. When Vyas does not return home, her sister Shefali ends up approaching the police. March 18: On a CCTV footage, the police spot Vyas getting into a car with Tamhankar and Sahjwani. They are questioned

May 5: After the DNA reports confirm that the blood drops
