SKIMMED MILK ON MIDDAY MEAL MENU SOON
MUMBAI: The state government has decided to include skimmed milk powder in the midday meal menu for students between Class 1 and 8 as per a government resolution released on Thursday. Students would be given 200gm packet of milk powder to take home every month. The scheme would be implemented on a pilot basis for three months.

Minor raped by relatives in husband’s presence
THANE: The Badlapur police arrested two men for raping a 17-year-old woman in March in her husband’s presence. The woman’s husband was in an inebriated state and could not help her. The two men had threatened to kill the woman if she revealed their act to anyone.
