WHY YOU SHOULD CARE

Around 6.7 million children below 5 years in Maharashtra are inhaling particulate matter (PM10) that is above permissible limits set by the law, of which 1.4 million children are exposed to twice the permitted pollution standards, revealed the second edition of air quality report in India by Greenpeace India Airpocalypse II report - on January 30. Additionally, 2.6 million children in the same age category live in districts across the state where there are no air quality monitoring stations.
