65YEAROLD SERIAL MOLESTER HELD IN THANE

THANE: The Kasarwadavli police on Tuesday, arrested 65-year-old Shivram Venkatesh Patkar for molesting minors in the past few months. The case came into light an 11-year-old girl was molested thrice by him on Friday while going back home from school. Police traced Patkar through CCTV footages. He is in police custody till October 19.

MUMBAI: Four people were arrested for attacking Shiv Sena MLA Tukaram Ramkrishna Kate outside a Navratri pandal in Trombay on Saturday. Police said Mahesh Londhe, a contractor involved in construction of Metro shed in Mandale, Mankhurd, and his accomplices,attacked Kate because he led an agitation against the construction of the shed.
