Ronaldo scores but Juve held by Genoa to end perfect start

ROME: Cristiano Ronaldo scored but wasteful Juventus had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate at home to Genoa to bring to an end the Italian champions’ perfect start to the season on Saturday.

With eight Serie A wins and two in the Champions League Juve were all set to extend that fine run but were made to pay for failing to convert a hatful of chances when Daniel Bessa headed in a second half equaliser.

BAYERN END DROUGHT, DORTMUND STAY ON TOP

WOLFSBURG: Ten-man Bayern Munich ended their four-match winless steak on Saturday as Robert Lewandowsk­i scored twice and set up a third goal in a 3-1 win at Wolfsburg.

Bayern leapt from sixth to second in the Bundesliga behind Borussia Dortmund who routed Stuttgart 4-0 with Paco Alcacer claiming his seventh goal in four Bundesliga games.

DELHI SNATCH A LATE POINT AGAINST KERALA
