Mixed day for Aditi; Senhora cruises

MUMBAI: Aditi Sinha had a day of mixed fortunes as she made the youth girls’ semifinals beating Shreyas Deshpande 4-11, 11-7, 11-7, 5-11, 11-7, 12-10 in the YMCA5th Maharashtra state-ranking table tennis tournament at the Goregaon Sports Club. In the women’s singles, however, Aditi went down to Vidhi Shah who won 11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 11-9, 7-11,11-7. Senhora D’souza made the women’s quarter-finals with a lop-sided 11-1, 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 win over Leena Medhekar.
