Sent to bat, Zimbabwe reached 286/5 thanks to Sean Williams’ career best 129 not out off 143 balls, and his 132run stand with Brendan Taylor for the third wicket — helping Zimbabwe recover from 6/2 to post their highest score at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. Taylor made 75.

India A defeat Australia A, win women’s T20s 30

MUMBAI: India A women completed a 3-0 sweep against Australia A with a 37-run win in the third and the final T20. Opting to bat, India A scored 154/8 with skipper Harmanpree­t Kaur top scoring with 41 off 27 balls. Jemimah Rodrigues chipped in with 38. The Indian bowlers then bundled out the Aussies for 117 in 19.2 overs. Poonam Yadav (3/23) Pooja Vastrakar (2/21) and Anuja Patil (2/26) emerged as the star bowlers for the hosts. The series was a buildup for the World T20.
