MHADA OFFICIAL DEMANDS BRIBE OF ₹13L, TWO HELD
MUMBAI: The anti-corruption bureau on Thursday arrested a Mhada sub-engineer , Amol Budhkondwar for demanding a bribe of ₹13.5 lakh from a developer who sought a no-objection certificate for redeveloping a building. Mohamed Shaikh who was accepting the bribe on behalf of Budhkondwar was also arrested at Lower Parel.

MUMBAI: The Amboli police on Wednesday arrested a 52-yearold man who was accused in a ₹22.65-crore cheating case and has been on the run for a year. He had also been charged in 17 cases of cheque bounces.
