MHADA OFFICIAL DEMANDS BRIBE OF ₹13L, TWO HELD

MUMBAI: The anti-corruption bureau on Thursday arrested a Mhada sub-engineer , Amol Budhkondwa­r for demanding a bribe of ₹13.5 lakh from a developer who sought a no-objection certificat­e for redevelopi­ng a building. Mohamed Shaikh who was accepting the bribe on behalf of Budhkondwa­r was also arrested at Lower Parel.
