APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR YOUNG INDIA FELLOWSHIP
The Young India Fellowship (YIF), a one-year postgraduate programme in Liberal Studies at Ashoka University, invites applications for the batch of 2019-20. Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of a thorough application evaluation, a telephonic interview and a final round of a written comprehension test and an interview.
The first phase of application submissions will close on November 15, 2018.
YIF also offers full and partial scholarships to successful applicants and there is no fee for applying to the programme. Candidates with a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree are eligible for the programme.

Upskilling programme by Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge
Cyient, a global provider of engineering, manufacturing, geospatial, networks, digital, and operations management solutions to global industry leaders signed an MOU with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) to collaborate on skill-building and to improve employability for engineering students by imparting technical and soft skills trainings for the students.
The two organisations will work toward setting up a train-andhire model for final-year students of mechanical, electrical, electronics, and aeronautical streams in Task-registered engineering colleges.
Cyient has designed various training modules across these domains to help students get practical industry exposure.
A programme in autonomous vehicle engineering
KPIT Technologies and Udacity, the Silicon Valley-based lifelong learning platform, are joining hands to upskill and build the engineering talent ecosystem for autonomous technology, including self-driving cars and autonomous flight.
You will be trained in artificial intelligence, machine earning, deep learning and big data are some as a part of the programme. KPIT has also announced and launched scholarship programmes for self-driving car engineering.
