IMPRESSIVE PHERWANI IN PRE-QUARTERS

Cricket Club of India’s Sparsh Pherwani, winner of the first leg, continued with his impressive form and scored his third successive win, defeating Nikhil Saigal of Khar Gymkhana by a narrow 3-2 (41-67, 55-44, 31-62, 64-38 and 62-43) margin in a keenly-contested Group-a match of the snooker competition of the BSAM Maharashtra State Senior Snooker & Billiards Selection (leg-2) Championship 2018, at the Bombay Gymkhana billiards room on Monday.

In another match of the same group, Bombay Gymkhana’s billiards marker Sanjay Gamre got the better of JVPG’S Sanjiv Shah 3-2 (62-8, 52-60, 48-34, 28-63 and 60-18) for his second win.
