Himanshu stars in Al Barkaat’s victory

MUMBAI: Defending champions Al Barkaat mauled Anjuman-iIslam Urdu by an innings and 15 runs in the second round of U-16 Harris Shield, at the Cross Maidan here on Friday.

Barkaat, who had a lead of 103 runs in their first innings, skittled out Anjuman for 88 in the second innings to register a comprehensive win. Himanshu Singh was star performer in their victory claiming 11 wickets in the match (5/10, 6/35), besides hitting an unbeaten 50 in the first innings.
