2005 – Adarsh allegedly got the power of attorney from Abdul Rashid, co-executor of Sir Yusuf Khot’s estate to the Kanjur Village property. of the power of attorney and agreement furnished by Adarsh revealed that they were fabricated and interpolated and when the original documents were sought from Adarsh, they submitted that the originals were lost. The inspection also revealed there was a difference in the documents submitted in 2006 and the photocopies provided by Adarsh recently, he said.
In light of the submissions, the bench not only restrained Adarsh from violating the status quo but also directed the collector, tehsildar, talathi and superintendent of land records from effecting any changes to the record books. It then posted the matter for hearing on January 10.
