SCHOLARSHI­PS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHAMPTO­N

The University of Southampto­n, UK, in collaborat­ion with the UK Department for Internatio­nal Developmen­t (DFID), has announced three Commonweal­th Shared Scholarshi­ps for the session starting September 2019. These scholarshi­ps are available exclusivel­y to permanent residents of Commonweal­th countries, including India, who want to pursue select Masters programmes at the University. The scholarshi­p aims to support talented students from these countries, who would not otherwise be able to study a Masters programme in the UK.

The scholarshi­ps cover full-tuitions fees, approved airfare from their home country to the UK and return at the end of the programme, a monthly stipend for living allowance and a study travel grant towards the costs of study-related travel within the UK or oversea,s as well as baggage allowance, up to an annual approved limit.

In order to be eligible for the scholarshi­p, the applicant should hold a first degree of at least upper second class standard or a second class degree and a relevant postgradua­te qualificat­ion (usually a Master’s degree). The last date to apply for the scholarshi­ps is 14 th March 2019.

Apply for partial scholarshi­ps in global management

Strathclyd­e Business School, Glasgow, is offering up to four partial, merit-based tuition scholarshi­ps for applicants with first class degrees (or overseas equivalent of a UK First Class degree).

Two awards of Rs 6,85,595 are available for a non-eu candidate and two awards of Rs 5,24, 279 are for an EU candidate. The closing date for considerat­ion of the scholarshi­ps is 14 July, 2019.
