Kohli: One mistake can spoil whole IPL

DUBAI:ONE mistake could “spoil” the entire IPL, Royal Challenger­s Bangalore captain Virat Kohli warned his teammates in the team’s first virtual meeting in the bio bubble on Monday.

“We have followed what’s been told to us and I would expect everyone to be on the same page in terms of securing the bubble at all times and making sure that nothing is compromise­d,” Kohli said on Monday.

“...Because I think one mistake by any one of us could literally spoil the whole tournament. And none of us want to do that.”

NEW DELHI: Retail conglomera­te Future Group has pulled out of BCCI’S central sponsorshi­p list for the Indian Premier League.

Future Group has been forced to pull out as the company is reportedly on the verge of a takeover and has suffered losses due to the prevailing economic climate in the wake of the pandemic. “Yes, Future Group has pulled out of IPL central sponsorshi­p and that’s the reason their logo has been removed from the IPL website,” a BCCI veteran told PTI.
