FOR MY STAFF’
The actor urges everyone to put social media to good use rather than spreading negativity
My staff is my responsibility. I have always help them irrespective of they are working for me right now or have worked with me before. Currently, my shoots have been postponed but if they ever need anything such as groceries and money, I am always there for them and they know that,” says Nidhhi Agerwal as she emphasises on the need for everyone to come forward and help the lesser privileged during the health crisis.
The actor also believes that one has to be extremely cautious while using social media as a platform to amplify requests and requirements surrounding Covid-19. “We should post as much positive content as possible. If there’s right information posted on social media such as availability of oxygen cylinders, then that’s great because it’s helpful to a lot of people. But posting negative things unnecessarily is not needed right now,” she explains.
Agerwal stresses on the need to have a positive outlook at a time when constant exposure to information on social media is causing panic and anxiety. “We know what is happening right now. It might be tough but we should try and be positive and look at the good things in life,” she shares, adding, “Social media has always been a doubleedged sword. We log into our accounts to feel good and not worse about the situation.”
Looking forward to getting back on a film set, she says, “I know that the production houses and the film units I am working with will take care of everyone on the set. I would like to resume work in a safe environment as soon as possible.”
