GOA HOTELS TO RESUME OPERATIONS
PANAJI: Over 250 hotels in Goa will resume operations from Thursday after the Goa government allowed establishments abiding by standard operating procedures to reopen. The state government had sought an application from hotel operators along with a declaration that they will abide by government guidelines amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Tourism minister Manohar Ajgaonkar on Wednesday said, “The hotels will be allowed to start from tomorrow. Those who want to, can travel to Goa. Hotel booking should be done prior to travelling to the state and with a hotel that has been allowed to reopen. Without booking tourists will not be allowed,” Ajgaonkar said.
