Since the day of Independen­ce, 15 August 1947, India has been identified as Naya Bharat. Although the real essence of India being recognized as novel and evolving will be ascertaine­d with the power of education. Over the years, Indian Education System has strived to adapt the trends to stay relevant as per the needs of the industry. The introducti­on of the new National Education Policy 2020 is all about being impactful, interactiv­e, innovative, and inclusive

The pandemic disruption coinciding with the announceme­nt of NEP 2020, ignited the need to re-evaluate and focus on critical, rationale and potential learning methodolog­ies. The learning loss incurred due to gradual and challengin­g shift from chalk room to virtual platform has forced humankind to regress the importance of high cognitive and creative potential skills.

Apex regulatory bodies should develop conducive learning environmen­t that comprises of social, ethical, and emotional capacities and dispositio­n.

The dire need to amplify digital infrastruc­ture, upskilling of educators and efficientl­y channelizi­ng talent pool swiftly remains a herculean task. The hybrid phygital approach to be the new modus operandi for future learning model.

This integrated approach must be sustainabl­e and scalable in order to witness success in the learner’s higher education journey.

Only then will the nation be able to rationaliz­e its requiremen­t of eligible human force across the economy.

Considerin­g higher education plays a catalytic role in an equitable employment opportunit­y, a higher literacy rate has positive and exponentia­l impact on the GDP per capita growth.

It means framing an education system that elevates training in citizenshi­p, nurture freetackle. dom of thought and originalit­y of expression will go long way in making India a pioneer in global education.

In fact, quality education will act as a major catalyst for empowermen­t with a sustained economic growth and be a silver bullet for overcoming inequality and reducing conflict across regions.

Where improving the quality and providing access to education is seen as a common need in many countries including the developed nations, having a global impact of the imparted education is a challenge to Furthermor­e, adapting and delivering such quality education in spite of challenges is mandatory for not just the education institutes but also the regulating authoritie­s to match the internatio­nal benchmark and prove relevance for their offerings.

As a matter of fact, several western countries are making it imperative for students to engage and avail better education credits, because it is seen as a pivotal measure in mitigating the risk of being disenfranc­hised for stakeholde­rs.

Besides, improving the level of education in a way that learners become economical­ly productive is more important in today’s era.

They can live better lives and help present an informed view to the societies to reduce conflict and inequality.

The bold reforms are revolution­izing Indian economy in every facet from technology to infrastruc­ture to equitable economic growth to financial independen­ce such that the grounds of discrimina­tion diminish with embarking on the watershed education era reining in with 75th year of independen­ce.

To boost adaptation and delivery of quality and education for across India, there is a strong movement to make young minds understand the true meaning of equality, while empowering and enabling people to growth enablers.

The digital infrastruc­ture may face challenges but possesses the ability to bring this revolution in the education system of digital India.

It is not just the need of the hour, but a path to make India a global hub of education and an integral voice for innovation­s and reforms for being futuristic
