In the first two hours of the voting, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, who is contesting from Kota, BJP state president C P Joshi contesting from Chittorgarh and Union minister and BJP candidate from Jodhpur Gajendra Singh Shekhawat cast their votes.
State assembly speaker Vasudev

In Barmer, according to the officials cited above, a clash erupted between supporters of Congress candidate Ummedaram Beniwal and independent candidate Ravindra Singh Bhati.
“The situation was later brought under control by the local police,” an official said, seeking anonymity.
