Sangram Singh adopts a school
Wrestler-actor and reality TV star Sangram Singh supports several charities and social causes. Earlier this year, he associated himself with the cause of saving and adopting cows. Now, we have come to know that Sangram will be adopting a school in Satara. He will sponsor the education of the kids studying there for a year.
Talking about the initiative, he says, “I was shooting in Lonavala when I learnt about this village called Kole in Satara, and it simply touched my heart.”
He saw 25-30 kids studying in one small room without adequate stationery or proper uniforms. “I found out that they didn’t have enough resources. I spent some time with the kids, and they are simply wonderful, says Sangram, who then decided to adopt the school.
“I want India’s youth to lend a helping hand towards people who need help and deserve it. Any life is meaningful only if you can help others in this lifetime,” feels the actor, who is also looking into the quality of meals being served to the kids, and if need be, he will fund that too.
