It may be raining cats and dogs, but the mucky weather shouldn’t stop you from looking fresh. For all those who can’t do without makeup, here are some hacks and makeup tricks for the monsoon. the V of the eye into the crease line. Apply a blonde matte pigment on the edges. Finish the look with a similar coloured eyeliner.

FOR YOUR CHEEKS

Go for that dewy look. While you may think that dewy makeup does not work well due to the moisture, it actually replenishes the skin and gives it extra sheen. However, if not done correctly, it will make your skin look greasy. To get the look, prep your skin with a matte primer. Use an illuminating light-weight foundation. Apply it to the face with the help of a damp blender. To obtain a natural flush, use a peach cream-based blush and apply it to the apples of your cheeks.

FOR YOUR LIPS

Matte tints work best during the monsoon. After you are done applying a lip colour of your choice, make sure you seal it in. The trick is to use a tissue paper over your lips, and lightly dust some powder over the tissue. The powder will set the lip color in the same way it sets your makeup.

FOR YOUR HAIR

Tying your hair makes you look older is a myth. Chignons add elegance, and will flatter your look, and also keep your hair protected during the monsoon. With inputs from Vidya Tikari and Abhijit Chanda, beauty experts.
