Like actor, like fan

Deepika Padukone (left) keeps uploading videos of her working out at the gym on her social media accounts. These videos have motivated the actor’s fans, who have now also started making their own fitness videos. Many of them tag Deepika’s Twitter and Instagram handles in their posts. And it’s not just her fans in India who are doing this. Followers from around the world are taking a page from her book. A source says, “It is great to see how people have taken up these fitness routines. The Bollywood actor’s fans were also impressed with a recent advertisement for a sports brand, which featured Deepika, among other popular athletes. These videos allow Deepika and her fans to connect with each other through their workout sessions.” The Bajirao Mastani (2015) star was unavailable for a comment. Her spokesperson, however, said, “Deepika has received several videos from her fans, who have shared their workouts with her. She has been watching them, and has even responded to many such videos.
